Free Work Zone Safe Courses
Required Course: Starting January 1, 2026, every teen 17 years old or younger who are working toward their Connecticut Driver’s License, or anyone who has never previously held a driver’s license
Connecticut Work Zone Safe Ticket
Required: Starting January 1, 2026, for those who have been instructed to complete it after being pulled over in a Connecticut work zone
Voluntary Course: Kansas Teens
Voluntary Course: Missouri Teens
North Carolina Work Zone Safe for Teens
Required Course: North Carolina Teens ages 17 and younger are required to complete the North Carolina Work Zone Safe for Teens course
North Carolina Work Zone Safe for Adults 18+
Voluntary Course: Adults 18 and older may voluntarily choose to take this optional course to learn about work zone safe driving
Required Course: Oklahoma teens are required to complete Oklahoma Work Zone Safe to receive their Oklahoma Intermediate Driver License.
Wisconsin teens can satisfy their required 30 minutes of Work Zone Safety instruction by completing the FREE Wisconsin Work Zone Safe Course

Lanford Family Transportation Construction Worker Memorial Scholarship Program
The American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) Foundation scholarship initiative provides post-high school financial assistance to the children of industry workers killed or permanently disabled on transportation project jobsites. Nearly $1 million in aid, distributed through 250 scholarships, has been provided since the program launched in 1999.
